Being promoted to Sales Supervisor from an initial Sales Assistant position is my proudest achievement within this role, and allowed me the opportunity to develop people management skills and broaden my understanding of how a business operates.I pride myself on my ability to continuously offer an exceptional customer experience and now as a Supervisor, I love that I am able to fulfil the needs of all customers and resolve any and all queries, without the need for manager intervention.Visual merchandising allows me to channel my creative side and as such, is an area of my role that I have really been able to excel in and develop an intense sense of pride. Following the announcement that House of Fraser (where Warehouse is a concession retailer) may close down, I am proud that I was able to maintain a level of positivity, both personally and amongst my colleagues, to ensure that the team continued to deliver a high level of customer service.

As part of a team in a fast-paced pub environment, I am most proud that I am able to rise to all challenges independently, whether it’s dealing with customer feedback and complaints or boosting team morale. In particular, I enjoy training new team members and supporting them to be successful within their role as they learn about the industry and the levels of service that are required.In this position I also have to work to specific targets, up selling on our premium drinks and our side order dishes and I find it personally satisfying that more often than not, I am the top performer across the team in exceeding these targets.

I am incredibly proud that I was able to live in a small city outside of the main tourist cities and become fully immersed within a completely different culture. This was often difficult at times, however I pushed myself to learn the local language and adapt to a way of working and living so different to one I have always known, which really strengthened my personal confidence.Working independently to develop and implement creative lesson plans in line with the curriculum, I received extremely positive feedback from my supervisor and the students. Under my own initiative, I held one on one sessions for my students to provide extra support and I found that this enabled me to build stronger teacher-student relationships, which undoubtedly contributed to the success of my students.
