During this management internship I am gaining skills such as employee training, inclusion training, updating the personnel policy, transitioning the restaurant from limited-service to full-service, helping develop a marketing plan for a new location of this restaurant, and managing a staff of 9 in the front of house. I also have gained many important event planning skills by helping with catering jobs from making the food to organizing the events.

At the Dunes Club I worked as a wedding and event waitress, set-up/breakdown crew, and fine dining waitress.

I worked as a barista most shifts and made sandwiches and other food other shifts. I also trained new waitstaff in both front of house and kitchen.

As the head barista I worked with the owner to help create the best flow/system of the front of house, hired new employees, trained new employees, took and ordered inventory, and closed the PO system at the end of the day.
