Community Dialogues is an ongoing program intended to make healthy, constructive dialogue a part of our identity as an institution, and the foundation of how we relate to each other in community. As Program Manager, I collaborate with the Director, our team of 60+ trained dialogue practitioners, and departments across campus to build and run Reflective Structured Dialogues on topics that matter to our community. Including recruitment and training of student practitioners, event planning and coordination, communications and marketing, project reports and analytics, and collaboratively writing dialogic questions and building intentional spaces for transformative communication on difficult topics.

- Oversaw programming across entire Center for Spiritual Life, ensuring varied, meaningful, and mission-driven programs and resources available to students and staff across the institution- Collaborated with and supported 5+ student-run religious and spiritual organizations- Planned community-wide engagement events aimed at belonging, gratitude, meditative practice, and spiritual wellness- Managed student worker- Designed and planned from scratch a spirituality-themed new student trip- Advised and consulted with Director and team on projects to improve connectivity and clarify our purpose within the Liberal Arts

Through the cross-disciplinary Environmental Studies program, I gained a broad and richly-textured view of environmental science, thought, and action across local, global, and regional contexts. Situated in the Pacific Northwest, I learned from local communities and landscapes and built skills in social scientific research, GIS mapping, and engagement across intellectual, geographic, and communication boundaries. Projects included collaboration with Oregon Humanities, research and reflection in ecological thought, and a three-year capstone project of research incorporating theories of Anthropology and Religion, situated environmental analysis, and stories of the Klamath Basin.In my coursework in Religious Studies, I studied through the lens of culture, theory, and practice, exploring specific traditions as well as themes across human history. Themes include psychology and social function of human religion, gender roles, philosophical roots, interactions with social and political institutions, and medicine and wellness.

-Recruit, hire, and nurture a skilled and passionate team dedicated to create a transformative outdoor summer experience for children-Supervising team of 30 staff, including mentoring, training, evaluation, and scheduling-Focusing on youth development, staff professional development, and fostering a healthy and rewarding collaborative living/working environment-Overseeing camp programs including craft, outdoor adventure, ranch living-Directing Campers In Leadership Training program: working closely with teenage-campers and program staff to run a fun and rich youth training program aimed at meaningful leadership development

-Built and managed restaurant/counter cheese program, budgeting, pricing, and product management, collaboration with distributors-Line cook-FOH service, wine bartending

-Living and working with youth (ages 8-16) at residential summer camp, remote mountain ranch setting-Director of Camper in Leadership Training program (2 years)-Program management and teaching in ceramics studio, community dances, morning yoga, morning yoga, all-camp special events: incorporating teamwork, critical thinking, growth mindset, and communication skill-building-Served as Senior Counselor: coordinating and supporting 25 counseling staff, leadership level decision-making, professionalism at camp, dynamic planning-Case management and assessment of individual camper needs-Modeling and empowering others in the ethics of ranch-style living including communal living, outdoor skills, environmental awareness, responsible citizenship

-Preparing and serving 600 family-style meals daily, mealtime support, dishwashing-Appointed for management responsibilities and liaison with camp directors

-Reviewing and editing on creative, analytical, scientific, and essay assignments-1:1 mentoring and feedback

-Manager for student-run Information Technology department, "MARMOTs"-Running weekly meetings, supervising multiple projects, managing payroll, facilitating long-term mission-driven improvements to IT department, collaboration with administration-Provided IT support for students, staff, and faculty, network maintenance, software/hardware troubleshooting, classroom/curriculum integration, educating freshmen on responsible technology use
