Designed, coordinated, and managed an exhibition to showcase interdisciplinary college education.Collaborated with an interdisciplinary team to write, design, compile, and layout 5 studio books for each of the interdisciplinary courses included in the exhibition.Collaborated with an interdisciplinary team to design and elaborate graphics for Sea Grant’s board game targeted to K-12 students to educate about Louisiana’s coastal crisis and CPRA Restoration Projects.

Collaborated with an interdisciplinary team from site analysis, site visits, to schematic design and final drawings to design a Green Infrastructure Network for the city of LaPlace to provide ecosystem services, such as flood control, community connectivity, and ecological benefits.Engaged with community and clients on site to address their needs in the design.Elaborated a series of analysis maps including hydrology, transportation, zoning, impervious vs pervious surfaces, etc, which informed the final design.

With help from my mentor Dr. Traci Birch, managing director of the LSU Coastal Sustainability Studio, I designed, developed, and conducted an independent research project that studies the viability of native vegetation and locally sourced substrate mix in green roof modules under South Louisiana’s subtropical climate.Interviewed experts within the field of architecture, landscape architecture and horticulture.Conducted a literature review to create an annotated bibliography for the project to identify main themes and backgrounds.Negotiated with suppliers to get donations for the project. Designed and constructed wooden frames where green roof modular trays will sit on for the project. Developed a locally sourced substrate mix with guidance from an expert including Dr. Kuehny, director of LSU Burden GardensPlanted several plants on green roof modular trays. Observed and collected data from the test beds for the duration of 4 months. Analyzed the data collected.Results were presented at the Bays and Bayous Symposium 2023, Mobile AL and LSU Discover Day in April 2023.
