Good design is an enabler of change.I work with strategic material and innovation development, aiming for systemic change. Among all material industries, my core area of expertise is textiles. However, I like to go across different fields in order to collect synergies, gain knowledge and generate new insights. I am helping companies and institutions shift towards less unsustainable models. I want to see change happen. To that end, I engage with different actors and initiatives across the board.At IKEA, I led the agenda for material and innovation development for textiles: from crop to end design. And I was part of the core group for the Better Cotton Initiative in its initial stage.Currently I am also a member of the Council at the Urban Innovation Platform for Barcelona, BitHabitat. And a member of Hemp the Climate, an organization that supports the development of hemp as a climate positive industrial material re/source.
