At Red Oak Camp, we practice growth through environmental education. My primary focus is to create engaging experiences that foster growth, learning, and adventure for campers ranging from 6 to 14, as well as external programs with kids, families, and adults. With a passion for environmental stewardship and outdoor education, I develop and lead programs which enhance of our camp's curriculum, activities, and mission statemnt.Diversity and inclusion is important to outdoor education, Red Oak has partnered with a non-profit Footpaths which creates pathways for underrepresented communities to gain outdoor experience. I am interested in creating dynamic and inclusive programs which ensure campers feel comfortable utilizing their skills in an outdoor setting and feel empowered to explore and connect with nature. I believe in the power of environmental education to help campers develop a lifelong appreciation for conservation.

As an intern in the Senate Clerk's Office at the Ohio Senate Chambers, I supported the legislative process by engaging with policymakers, assisting with office tasks, and communicating with constituents and gained firsthand experience in state government operations. Working closely with Senate clerks and staff members, I was able to develop valuable research skills, communication strategies, and office skills while gaining insight into the inner workings of state government.Furthermore, this internship provided an excellent opportunity to conduct legislative research and analysis on a wide range of policy issues.Overall, my internship in the Senate Clerk's Office at the Ohio Senate was a rewarding and immersive experience in state government. I gained valuable skills that enabled me to excel in future roles.
