After achieving my general qualification for university entrance (in 2016), I spent an au pair year in Albuquerque (USA) and was able to successfully improve my English skills, both written and spoken. In August 2018, I started my apprenticeship as a tourism clerk with the tour operator TravelTrex in Cologne and successfully completed it in June 2021. During the training, I was able to gain insights into the different departments of the company. These included the sales/customer service, editorial, social, affiliate marketing and product management departments. Furthermore, I was allowed to work for the winter sports brand 'SnowTrex' as a tour guide in a ski resort in France. I was then taken on as a permanent employee at TravelTrex GmbH. From March to December 2022, I was an au pair in Australia. Since January 2023, I have been in New Zealand and work in a lodge which, in addition to accommodation, is also available as a venue for events such as weddings and conferences, which allows me to gain multi-layered insights into the hotel and event industry. In summer 2023 I plan to come back to Europe and probably move to the Netherlands - I am open for job offers in the Netherlands or remote positions.
