Bedrock is a subsidiary of One William Street Capital that operates a specialty hedge fund focused on commercial real estate lending. In this role I was a due diligence lead with a broad mandate across fixed and floating rates, and conduit and mezzanine loans. During my tenure I conducted due diligence and supported underwriting 60+ transactions, valued in the hundreds of millions. My responsibilities were broad and included support for underwriting and execution of real estate deals, credit analyses and risk assessments on borrowers and sponsors, building quantitative models, performing in-depth rent roll and cash flow analyses, and generating financial forecasting models of properties using Excel, Rockport, and Argus.I also drafted tenant write-ups and asset summary reports, abstracted leases, and reviewed appraisals, property condition assessments, and environmental and seismic reports.

Deutsche Securities is the brokerage and investment banking arm in Korea for Deutsche Bank AG. At Deutsche I performed equity research focused on a universe of eight Korean banks, responsible for deep-dive industry analysis, building earnings forecast models, managing databases, publishing research, analyzing industry dynamics, and performing competitive benchmarking. I also served as the primary contact for key institutional clients. During this time I constructed a global peer comparison time series matrix and analyzed 10-year historical data of 230 global banks to create a report comparing share price performance and key share price drivers.

Woori Investment & Securities (now d/b/a NH Investment & Securities) is one of the largest securities firms in Korea. In this role I supported an equity research team covering the Korean financial industry, with responsibility for building earnings forecast models, managing company and industry-specific databases, analyzing financial data and industry trends, and creating in-depth equity research reports and marketing materials.I also conducted specialized research for an M&A analysis on privatization of state-owned Korean banks, using benchmarks from mega-merger case studies of US-based global banks.
