Lecture Kinesiology 325 - Intermediate Clinical Athletic Training IDesigned to apply skills learned during upper extremity and spinal evaluation in athletic training.Upon completion of the course students will have the ability identify a client's problem through skillful evaluation and be able to recommend the athlete for referral under the supervision of a preceptor.The will be able to use observation, palpation, range of motion, muscle testing, and structural testing to evaluate upper extremity injuries commonly seen in sports medicine settings.

Temporary Athletic Trainer for the Community College of Baltimore County - Essex.- Responsible for pre participation physical exams, prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses. Worked with MedStar Sports Medicine and Orthopedic medical teams for interdisciplinary care.- Daily duties included coverage of all in-season and out of season practice/games, pre and post treatments, rehabilitation, documentation of treatments, assessments, physician appointments/follow up care, and all necessary taping, bracing and protective padding- Trained student staff on therapeutic exercise and foundation of injuries such as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears, shoulder labrum tears, rotator cuff impingement, and ankle sprains.
