As the Public Diplomacy arm of the U.S. Consulate General, the Office of Press and Cultural Affairs in Vancouver provides information from and about the United States to Canadians in British Columbia and Yukon Territory. The Public Affairs office represents the Consulate's voice in the region, working closely with local organizations and media outlets to plan and attend local events, as well as research and report on media and cultural issues related to the U.S. and Canada, and to British Columbia in particular.

As the Data Management and Fundraising Intern I jumpstarted a system of donor securement and maintenance, helped ensured the successful fulfillment of CMHA’s annual Ride Don’t Hide Event (RDH), raising over $1.5 million Canada wide, assisted the other 30 CMHA branches hosting local rides, and managed the organization's NEON and Fronstream platforms.

Primary functions included facilitating delivery of the Jump Start two-week immersion program, building, and supporting an engaged community of new-to-UBC students. Also involved developing and role model outstanding student leadership on campus throughout the academic year
