Tracking, recording, and paying of wages to employees. Receiving and recording payment from clients. General management of business funds for purchase and care of equipment. I ran a small lawn care business. The business cared for between 15 and 25 yards, depending on the season. Our services included mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing. As well as participating in the yard care service labor, I was responsible for all the book-keeping of the company. I developed a financial tracking system for the business using Excel and used it to record employee wages, client payment, and other business expenses such as equipment replacement and repair. I was also responsible for all client communications such as sending out monthly invoices, late-payment notices, and general information about scheduling.
