Mechanical Engineer with a M.S. in Applied Mechanics. I completed my PhD focussed on mechanical simulation of soft tissue behavior. Then, I have focussed my activity on experimental and computational characterization of biopolymers.During my PhD I acquired expertise on programming (fortran, python and matlab, mainly), on the use of Finite Element software (Abaqus, Ansys) and on the use of CAD programs (SolidWorks).I have also worked in international institutions (U.S. and Germany), being comfortable working on multidisplinary and multicultural environments.Currently, I am working as an R&D engineer at ITA, focused on composite materials and adhesives.
