My name is Clara and thank you for reading my profile. I started CASA when my son was starting school as I wanted to have the flexible working hours, but also I wanted a business that reflects me as a person. CASA is an at home business that specialises in supporting small to medium business's in their financial and back office requirements. I wanted a community business that supports each other and so far that is exactly what I have and I love every minute of my work. In 2015 we decided to ensure we could look after our clients in the best possible way to diversify slightly and started our second company....CASA Auto Enrolment. The aim of CASA Auto Enrolment is to ensure companies are compliant with Auto Enrolment. The legislation is quite high around work place pensions and companies were struggling with this. We provide a scheme that ticks all the boxes whilst keeping the costs low!I started training in accountancy when my son was just 18 months old - hard work being a single Mum and going back to college but both are my best experiences in life to date and now starting CASA a year ahead of schedule has been amazing achievement to me. I love figures and number crunching, I love helping my clients and am passionate about providing a quality service that is affordable to small business's and individuals. Prior to retraining and starting CASA I worked for Flagship Training Ltd for 2 years in property management & development of 6 Naval sites around the South of England and IBM prior to that. At IBM I was involved with the Year 2000 project, British Library digital library project and customer support operations. I also worked in the National Health Service for a number of years. I have always held financial positions and realised how much I enjoyed this side of my work along with customer service so Bookkeeping and Accountancy was a natural progression.
