Then I teach it to the choristers and conduct the performances which take place in libraries and local homesThrough the club I also provide individual performances on the North Shore of ChicagoThe North Shore Musicians Club Chorus performs twice annually for the club in addition to being available for other engagements. Our most recent performance was April 2016 and with another coming in November 2016In addition members of the club perform locally on a monthly basis The North Shore Musicians Club was founded in 1921 by Dorothy Wing Macauley. Its objectives are to: 1) promote the study, performance and enjoyment of music in the Chicago area, and 2) to support young performers by means of a scholarship program. The Club is a 501c3 educational/charitable organization, so all donations are tax deductible.As the current conductor of the ensemble, I am accepting requests for audition of women’s voices at this time. Auditions may open for male voices at a later date. Ability to read music is required. Rehearsals are scheduled on Thursday mornings in Wilmette. Performances currently are chamber performances with singers and instrumentalists.
