Clara Gaymard is co-founder of the RAISE Group, a pioneer in committed finance.In 2013, Clara Gaymard and Gonzague de Blignières founded RAISE, a pioneering investment and innovation group in committed finance, with €2bn under management. A mission-driven company with a unique model for sharing success at the service of entrepreneurs, RAISE is organised around 3 business areas: an investment platform (RAISE Invest, RAISE Impact, RAISE Ventures, RAISE Seed for Good, RAISE Immobilier, RAISE Infrastructure, Invest for Childhood), innovation activities (RaiseLab and Domaine la Plume) and an endowment fund (RAISE Sherpas).In April 2018, Clara and Gonzague launched the Movement for a Benevolent Economy, aiming to mobilise and bring together companies and citizens who believe, act and undertake by reconciling performance and generosity, business and social impact in order to create more value for all.Clara is also a member of the Board of Directors of Bouygues and LVMH and a member of SAGES.Clara was previously President and CEO of GE France from 2006 to 2016. There she held various international positions, in particular developing the Group's relations with governments.She began her career in 1982 at the City of Paris. She then became an Auditor and Referendary Adviser at the Cour des Comptes in 1986, then Commercial Adviser at the Poste d'Expansion Economique in Cairo in 1991. On her return to Paris, she was put in charge of trade relations with the EU at the Ministry of the Economy. In 1995, she became chief of staff to Colette Codaccioni at the Ministry of Solidarity between Generations. She then headed the "SME Mission" at the Ministry of the Economy and Finance until 2003, before being appointed Ambassador for International Investment and head of the French Agency for International Investment (AFII). Clara was also President of the Women's Forum from 2015 to 2018.Clara Gaymard is a graduate of ENA and IEP in Paris.She is an Officier de l'Ordre national du Mérite, Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur and Commendatore de l'Ordre du Mérite de la République italienne.She is also the author of novels and essays, including "Faut qu'on parle", published in 2016
