• Creating a design case competition focused on educating competitors regarding the social and environmental issues occurring on a local island.• Overseeing 17 design teams representing universities across the province, while documenting and addressing any inquiries presented.• Communicating with OEC team members biweekly to ensure logistics are organized before competition.

• BC OneCall – Primary contact for analyzing and providing record files regarding the sanitary, water, and drainage systems using a mapping software, ArcGIS.• Cross Connection Control Program (CCCP) – Organized the CCCP, preventing contamination of the potable water system using Backflow Prevention Devices. Monitored the CCCP tracking software to identify and resolve discrepancies.• Visited many municipal projects and engaged with key stakeholders: Members of the Lil’wat and Squamish Nation, Environmental Resources Group, tenders, and colleagues.

The main goal was to educate; creating a positive long-term effect of mitigating the amount of waste being sent to landfills.• Helped an average of 120 tourists and locals sort their trash at parks daily.• Created meaningful conversations with community members providing knowledge and solutions towards living a waste-free lifestyle.• Recorded behaviour analysis on an hourly basis from by-passers, results are then passed on to the municipality who observe the data and make changes to recycling systems accordingly.
