Firstly, when I studied my university degree, I received special training in different and effective teaching teachniques and methodologies in order to support the teaching and learning process in English-speaking schools. Besides, I also received training in how to support children with SEMH and learning difficulties and how to adapt materials and resources for them. I could put into practice all these approaches and techniques during three school internships (two of them were completed at Spanish school settings and the other one at a British school setting). Secondly, I have been working at different Special Educational Needs schools for the last two years. Since I started to work in SEN schools, I have learnt many different strategies and approaches and I would like to further expand my knowledge by exploring my possibilities in both mainstream and SEN schools. Furthermore, I am seeking new challenges towards building my career in Education. Working in different SEN schools has provided me a wide range of skills and abilities that could be successfully put into practice at your school. For instance, I have learnt to plan a lesson according to a specific assessment system (Classroom monitor), behaviour management skills like room management, different communication methods (including Makaton and PECS symbols) and I have organized many community trips. Finally, working as an intern student during my degree gave me abilities in the field of research that can be used when planning resources. I was a member of a research team at the University of Murcia and I was in charge of analysing the content of several studies as well as consult different bibliographic sources for the project that this team was carrying out.
