Graze Market is a surplus food market which aims to bridge the gap between food waste and hunger by offering fresh produce that would have been discarded, at a discounted price to the public. We hope to inspire mindset, attitude, behaviour and systemic change in how we treat our food and the environment. Graze Market opened its doors in July 2019 and now operates from its own retail & warehouse space in Petaling Jaya. We have rescued up to 200 tons of food to date and have transferred the savings to our customers. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we have also fed more than 6000 individuals. The Acumen Fellowship program is an intensive leadership development program cultivating a pipeline of tomorrow’s social changemakers. Over the course of a year, Fellows remain in their jobs while participating in five, multi-day immersive seminars and engaging in online content between seminars. Currently operating in Malaysia, Bangladesh, Colombia, East Africa, India, and West Africa, the Fellows Program equips leaders from across the country or region with the knowledge, skills and community to become more effective, collaborative agents of change.

Clara joined the Center for Asia Leadership Initiatives under the Atlas Corps Fellowship program (Class 31). She is the first Fellow from Malaysia and served with CALI for a year. She worked with various stakeholders to build long term partnerships in the area of talent and learning development and managed the internal operations of the organization. Some of her achievements at CAL include the following:● Program managed 12 leadership programs and conferences that reached thousands of participants. Heavily involved in proposal writing, sales and marketing, recruitment, material preparation, trainer and program coordination, actual day execution and financial management.● Established a strong presence in East Malaysia with government-linked companies, the private sector, and various government ministries● Established connections and partnerships with media partners, MNCs, and the nonprofit sector● Strengthen internal operations through organizational goal and development plan creation, team culture initiatives development, operational optimizationAbout Atlas Corps:Atlas Service Corps, Inc. Clara was the Section Head of the Partnerships - Special Projects Department where she managed the long term CSR partnership with Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad / Prudence Foundation. She led a team of 5 who developed, planned, executed and monitored financial protection programs for the poor and financial education programs for children and youth. The two programs have reached up to 100,000 individuals in Malaysia.She is an experienced trainer and has trained children, youth and adults in financial literacy skills.She spent 2 years on Volunteer Management where she created the volunteering structure, volunteering process, and maintained the volunteer database.She is an Associate Member of the Malaysian Association of Social Workers since 2016

Clara joined the Management Trainee program to focus on Process Excellence, in particular the Cost Improvement Projects (CIP). She then became the Production Planner where her responsibility was to deliver the plant's weekly target production in full and on time. Her experiences include being part of the Zero Defect program, being trained in LEAN manufacturing, and being part of the Business Planning process.
