I build their confidence around exercise and nutrition, through creation of my own education, support and accountability resources & tools, and coaching via email, Facebook and face-to-face. My client base was successfully built through Facebook advertising, WoM via client referrals and social media, delivering talks, direct marketing and my website.My mission is to help women create long term behaviour change and achieve results that last. I coach these women to become inspired to take better care of their emotional and physical self, so they can live life fully, and really thrive. I help them become confident in exercise and nutrition, so that they can make better decisions, and lifestyle changes that stick. Through my guidance, motivation, resources and accountability, I help them to take back control of their mindset, attitude and behaviours. I have now also launched FitGirls Online - to help the many women who are either unable to afford one-on-one personal training, or just need something more flexible than traditional personal training, to help them become more accountable, confident and mostly more comfortable with a programme that will not only help them with their body shape, energy levels, health and vitality - but their mindset too.

    Key Achievements Responsible for creating the very first Nationally renowned “Cycle2work” scheme and creating a new department with a turnover of £5million and managing a team of 8. Programme included retailer training and communication, managing a roadshow team, and organising and delivering events with hundreds of employers throughout the UK each year. The scheme generated £3.6 million for Halfords and increased average transaction value of bikes and safety equipment for the business, through effective roadshows and customer literature. I reduced the costs of running the scheme and bringing it to market, through collaborating with new business partners.

    Key Achievements Created and implemented a market-beating promotional plan and ATL advertising campaign, which lead to a 50% share of Sat Nav and CD audio market over Christmas and peak trading periods. I brought new technologies (including Far-East ranges) to market, enabled customers to better shop, and retail staff to up-sell the range, by creating an exciting in-store environment. This included development, project-management and launch into stores of 5 new supplier-funded merchandising solutions, over a 9-month period. Additionally, I developed the identity and content for consumer Buyer’s Guides, in-store POS, and promotional leaflets. Product Marketing Manager for the UK’s market leading retailer of In Car Technology, with a category turnover of £200million. Responsibility for several dynamic product groups within the consumer electronics arena, including Sat Nav, Car Audio, Camera Locators, Hands Free solutions, in-car DVD and pre-pay phones. I manage a team of 3, work closely with two Buyers and two Supply Managers. The role involved achieving category sales and margin budgets, promotional planning, pricing, store ranging, new product launches, working with suppliers on collaborative marketing plans, point of sale, customer communication material, national press, delivering presentations, project management and maintaining key relationships with suppliers.

    Key Achievements In order to drive profitability and increase sales, I drove sales of Dilutes and switched sales into the No Added Sugar (NAS) range, via a new targeting strategy, ad campaign, research and development. The complete consumer campaign included TV, radio, digital, social media, press, store and home sampling. This campaign along with a complete brand-packaging redesign project, which I managed, successfully improved Vimto’s image and drove awareness, consideration and trial of the range. This project consisted of agency briefing, managing the pitch and selection process, design appraisal, 2 waves of consumer research and project management end-to-end. This all positively changed the target’s perception of the brand’s image, whilst maintaining our personality.  I secured shelf space with Grocery Multiples and Wholesalers, in order to increase awareness and trial of the Vimto brand, through a recommended Grocery Multiple and Wholesale trade marketing plan. My plan, including experiential sampling, .com sampling, in-store PoS, trolley and 6 sheet media, along with retailer press and coupons, was presented to the retail customers, project-managed and activated in line with our brand marketing campaign. I increased the children’s Vimto product offering for health-conscious moms through NPD and launch of a range of NAS 250ml products including a Still Sports cap range, water enhancer range and on-the-go 500ml range. Leading the brand planning process Managing the implementation of plans and driving profitable growth across multiple disciplines.
