As the spouse of a diplomat, I had the privilege to spend 2 years in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The beauty of Bosnia is still a secret, often attributed to the fact it's difficult to get to. I started the site, together with friends with a view to showcasing the opportunities Bosnia provides - as a destination for sportspeople, historians, hikers, foodies etc.

Having worked at Condé Nast Britain for several years I was delighted to have the opportunity to continue working for CN Britain following a posting (with my diplomat spouse) to Delhi. As Executive Editor my role was focused on liaising with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India to create a Condé Nast Traveller supplement promoting India as a tourist destination. The supplement was subsequently 'belly-bound' onto the main issue. Coming from a commercial background (see Vanity Fair) it was fascinating to experience the editorial side of the business, albeit with a bespoke commercial remit.
