During this internship, I completed several projects both personally and with the other interns. My biggest project this summer was testing vials' opening force to determine how it changes over time to ensure it would be within customers specifications by the time it reached them. I also performed testing to determine how opening force changes with temperature, both warm and cold. This data helped with adjustments for visual inspection equipment for the warmer and colder months. In another project, I performed ingress testing for vials at different conditions to find a correlation for vials at the different conditions. This helped increase efficiency for testing product in the lab. I created procedures for recertifying data loggers. To do this, I performed experiments to determine the best way to recertify and then wrote the procedure. Throughout the summer, I kept to ISO-9001 standards for the quality assurance of product.

As a member of the philanthropy committee of my chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma, I have had the opportunity to support our wonderful philanthropies: Talkspace, G.I.R.L.S. Academy, and the Kappa Foundation. I have volunteered at benefit nights and worked philanthropy events like our Kappa Kappucino and our Mac N Keys fundraisers to gain support and raise money for these philanthropies. At our Kappa Kappucino fundraiser, I helped check in people to the event and made sure there was plenty dessert out for people to eat. At our Mac N Keys fundraiser, I checked people into the event and handed out wristbands.

As a team leader, I was able to lead a team, with my co-lead, for the 2019-2020 academic school year to inspire college students to grow in their leadership in unique ways. We taught valuable leadership curriculum. I went through the program myself as a freshman, so I was lucky to be able to teach the curriculum I had learned.
