As the Chief Executive of Chichester Community Development Trust, I have been leading the charity's vision and mission for over 10 years. I am passionate about building a thriving community in Chichester, where residents can access opportunities for education, training, and local business activities and quality community spaces. We are making space for community, with people at our heart.With a background in law, working with HMRC and the National Criminal Intelligence Service (NCIS) as well as quality and learning, and voluntary sector governance, I bring a range of skills and expertise to my role. I am responsible for all aspects of running the organisation, from strategic planning and business development, to asset management and financial oversight. In my role at CCDT. I have raised over £7m in 10 years from trusts, foundations and trading and secured over £4m in assets. I work with an excellent staff team and board of trustees, as well as partner with other local organisations and stakeholders. I mentor and support individuals and start-ups who want to establish community businesses or projects. I am proud of the impact we have made in Chichester and beyond, through our community land and buildings, our community development activities, and our advocacy for the voluntary sector.
