To recruit, manage and develop volunteers who will support victims and witnesses of crime. To manage client waiting lists and their cases. Pilot project in partnership with NHS Devon to increase the number, scope and quality of referrals from GP practices to the voluntary and community sector. Manage signposting and referral to the sector including; maintaining up to date records of local groups and services. Establishing appropriate referral mechanisms within pilot sites. Advising health professionals about appropriate groups and actively making/managing referrals where appropriate. Monitor the take up and impacts of referrals

Delivered high quality resident involvement and community development activities. Managed the reception services within Tarka, including two members of staff. Represented Safer North Devon (SND) at a local and regional level, providing reports and presentations, influencing regional decision making to improve local outcomes. Specified, delivered, supported, and evaluated projects in partnership with local agencies and our communities. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the SND website and contribution to partner sites. Provided ongoing research for national and regional requirements for all partner agencies related to community safety and community cohesion. Contributed to best value and national indicators including accountability for all budgetary spend on projects. Delivered excellence in partnership working across seven statutory bodies and the voluntary and community sector. Ensured that communities participated in projects at all levels, receiving maximum benefit from the partnership. Responsible for facilitating and promoting CIOB’s role as an intermediary for Innovation and Research in the construction community through the development and management of relevant relationships, activities and initiatives. Represents CIOB on government and industry bodies. Manages the development of scholarships and innovation competitions and initiates new ideas for progression within this area. Develops the CIOB strategy and role in relation to Innovation and Research, along with the management of relationships with relevant stakeholders. Co-ordinates projects on which CIOB is a partner. Explores research funding sources, both in the UK and Europe.
