Hitting the streets at age 16 with a diploma, I worked in construction, then joined the USAF because my older siblings tried the Marines, Army and Navy, and the square footage of living space was more for the Air Force. I worked it for almost 9 years, obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant and as a 81170 supervisor. The military taught me survival skills in the world, and discipline. I got to travel half way across the world, saw California, Montana, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Okinawa, Hawaii, Guam and spent 2 years over at Osan Air Base, ROK. Not bad for a high school graduate from small town USA. After honorably serving America, I was able to land a job with the local Sheriffs Office. 72 below zero in Montana took its toll on me as I do not like cold weather.Politics and I don't mix, and the local Sheriffs Office was obviously a political nightmare. I was hired at $5.40 and hour... The elected Sheriff wages were $2 less per pay check than I made as a Staff Sergeant. Single, I met a girl and moved to her area, joining another department. Criminal actions by that department head, led me to leave and return back to my hometown and rejoined under the same Sheriff. There was no way I could tolerate or continue working with a POS Chief who was spying on the entire City by installing an illegal wire tap. I didn't know back then, the FBI was the agency to contact when the locals turned away and the Attorney General of the State of Michigan refused to prosecute that Chief because he was "liked by all".When the AG refused to prosecute, and Wexford County Investigators relayed that to me, I left without any 2 week notice. I didn't even give a 30 second notice. I never collected the last check, having worked 10 of the 14 day pay period. I had my relatives turn in my badge and uniforms and I was on the road returning home.13 years with the political hacks, I scored a job as a Police Chief for over 8 years. As Chief, I was able to try for Office of Sheriff 3 times, hating it. Elections consequences in 2006, The new Mayor ran guns to Mexico. I was fired since I couldn't be bribed, Fast and Furious happened, that Mayor and his clan went to prison. I didn't. Hired by the State of New Mexico as a Gaming Investigator after 8 years on 11-11-2015, I had issues resulting in permanent, physical disabilities. Don't lie cheat or steal.
