I joined STEER from Kingswood School, a co-ed day and boarding school in Bath where, as Assistant Head Pastoral, I implemented STEER across the school and successfully embedded it into the pastoral support structure. I found the data playing such a key part in the school’s pastoral system, and found it so rewarding to see the impact that targeted support could make to a student’s wellbeing, that I am now keen to help a wider audience and work with multiple schools.I am also Product Manager for USTEER, the new, ground-breaking soft skills training course for 16-18-year-olds. Through the comprehensive, tech-enabled plug-and-play course delivered via an app and video lessons, students can access personalised soft skill training and complete psychological assessments and exercises to target and improve soft skills for exams, interviews and the workplace. This inspirational education helps them understand the importance of healthy emotional regulation and teaches key workplace skills to give them the best chance of post-school success.
