Fall 2024: Completed training for Temple Theater. Hope to add some assignments to my schedule,Winter 2023-24: Scheduled for a visit with DMPA Civic Center HR Director, Bill Pinegar on Wed., Dec. 13, 2023. t have already given up working any of the Applause Series events due to stress outburst.Fall 2023: Planning to relinquish role at Civic Center involving working for Applause Series. Spring 2023: Motorcycle rally in South Carolina in June 2023. Hope to visit east coast relatives.Fall 2022: Returned to work at DMPA Guest Services as a part-time Guest Services worker. Work 3 to 10 assignments per month. Mostly Wed. and Fri. night, occasional day assignments with Applause Series. Cut back to three afternoons at Fareway [no more Friday nights except for quarterly inventory].April 2020: Started work as a cashier at ;local Fareway store in Altoona.Spring 2020: Skip's surgery went well in February. A little easier for both of us since sheltering in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Volunteering from home for CFI and helping at the DMARC food pantry warehouse on Tuesdays.Winter 2019-20: De-cluttering house: prep for new living room rug. Volunteering at CFI but not ARL since Cassidy left for an out of state job..Fall 2019: Prepping for Skip's latest back surgery.Summer 2019: Lots of motor trike rides and fun times with family. Spring 2019: Getting dirty in the vegetable garden and flower beds. Training to become a cat companion volunteer at ARL of Iowa Main.Winter and Spring 2019: Just trying to stay warm and make a positive difference. Helping to improve the Polk County VAN accuracy on the Central Committee Data team, chaired by Tom Leffler.Winter 2017-2018: Working on making positive change in political arena; Women's March 1/20/2018. Continuing to assist at DMARC and CFI.Winter and Spring 2017: Using skill set from Iowa State position to assist Children & Families of Iowa.Winter 2016-2017: Working to make positive change in political arena. Women's March on 1/21/17.Summer 2016: Involved with the Coord. Campaign in East Polk county to get out the vote to beat Trump, Grassley, Young, et al. [Very disappointed in outcomes of General Election. At least we beat Trump].Winter 2015: Involved with AFS Committee and Move to Amend-Iowa on "Governing Working with Public Citizen to take money out of politics by removing "personhood" from mega-corporations.Summer 2014: Involved in political activism after 2012 Obama campaign,Support a U.S. Constitutional Amendment to keep "dark money" out of politics.
