Having spent the past 24 years working in supermarket retail, cleaning - office, school & private house & now hardware retail. Ive learnt a lot of varied skills. I’ve been a checkout assistant, checkout supervisor, warehouse delivery receiver, worked on my own, as part of a team and I can honestly say I enjoyed it all. Now, in the past 7 years I’ve gone from 16 hours a week to full time and held 4 positions within the same company. I hold 3 level 3 NVQs all achieved as a mature student the most recent being my retail in management. In my own time I play for Salisbury women’s rugby club, I only recently started playing rugby at 38 years old. I’ve been a fan longer and wished I’d had the opportunity as a child as it’s great fun and I can pass on all my experience of being part of a team to younger generations who I play along side. It also helps with communication as you need to be on it all the time. I’ve been married to Stuart, a qualified electrician & currently a college lecturer in electrical installations for 17 years this year (2021) we don’t have children but have a great passion for dogs. We are both qualified open water divers, enjoy motorsport, rock music and amazing holidays (when we can).
