Previously employed as the Sales Office Manager at the 4 * Vincent Hotel a stylish boutique hotel in Southport town centre. The hotel has been open for 3 years, when I started at the hotel I was responsible for putting a working sales strategy in place, every potential lead and enquiry was followed up, enabling us to convert far more potential leads into confirmed bookings. In my time at the Vincent hotel I have been responsible for increased Sales Revenue achieving Sales targets. I have organised Wedding shows, attended wedding exhibitions representing the hotel. I have re packaged the wedding brochure along with the wedding Packs. I have trained staff in the role of Sales Co-ordinators. I work closely with the reservations team helping increase bedroom revenue as the corporate sales consultant is not based on site. I am responsible for putting function sheets together for all departments making sure they are aware of what is taking place in the hotel and to ensure the smooth running of all events, hosting weekly meeting with all HOD’s. Customer Service is key from the first point of contact to after care to ensure repeat business. II was instrumental in organising the very successful Vincent Charity Golf day at Royal Birkdale last year, working closely with a high profile local charity.I have experience of working with some high profile clients, in my current and previous roles within the hotel industry.I have been responsible for putting the Christmas brochure together, booking entertainment, and advertising over the Christmas period to help achieve targets over the Christmas period and maximize revenue. I have put all the proposals together for future business clients/conferences, checking what rates our competitors are doing to try and ensure business.
