My quiver of skills ranges from strategy developer, solution implementer, problem solver, creative thinker to process and team builder resulting in over 25 years of financial services industry experience. Building off early successes and taking each opportunity to a new level by leveraging the intellectual capital that was developed and accumulated over time. Project management is in my DNA.My superpower is seeing the big picture and understanding the millions of pieces required to get there. I’ve built successful marketing functions from the rubble and non-existent, to thriving successful solutions. Connecting the product launch journey all the way through to asset retention on a global and multi vehicle scale.I have built and developed teams to become value added functions to financial services organizations. My leadership approach is to train, elevate and support the teams I lead. My style is collaborative, inclusive and real. I celebrate their successes, knowing it takes all of us to move mountains.Failure is not a dirty word; it is a road sign directing you to the right solution. It is an opportunity to strengthen your plan and develop a solution that has staying power. Characteristics which have emerged from this understanding are grit, resilience, creativity and an unwavering sense of confidence. With my experience I understand marketing, campaigns, communication, production, RFPs, product collateral, consultant database management, sales enablement implementation and support. All things that complement and support the financial services sales cycle from asset gathering to asset retention. Support that not only has to be on time, consistent, and correct but also complied.Under my watch, a firm stays safe from regulatory sanctions without giving up the tools they need to be successful.Years ago, I was asked why I thought I’d be successful leading a team. I replied, “If I can lead a terrified individual down an icy ski slope, I can successfully lead a team.” I coach all ages and skills in skiing while also continuing to develop my own craft. The same skills I use to coach my clients are similar to what is needed in business; calm clients when faced with insurmountable challenges; break steps down into manageable pieces; guide clients to ultimately understand how best to adopt, thrive and be successful. The business world is not much different from this correlation. If you would like to learn more, let's connect as I am currently conducting a search for my next great adventure.
