Online Resource DeveloperResponsible for the full development of Loughborough College’s ‘GCSE English’ and ‘A Level Sociology’ Moodle based online courses and supporting the development of the ‘A Level English Literature’ online course and ‘Study Skills Resources’.All courses contain a detailed scheme of work, recommended resources documentation, glossaries and the individual mandatory lessons. Courses also contain forums designed to enhance the learning experience. This involves using a range of software to create engaging and interactive resources, including computer marked quizzes, tutor marked assessments, audio podcasts and video presentations, alongside the creation of downloadable worksheets and documents. The A Level Sociology course also contains an associated Word Press blog.Distance Learning Tutor: GCSE English, A Level SociologyDuties include:Planning the delivery of the courses and adapting them to fit individual needs. Setting lessons to be completed and answering students’ queries via email. Encouraging forum participation by making posts regularly and responding to students’ posts. Acting as the forum moderator. Providing detailed feedback on controlled assessment tasks and all tutor marked assessments (including past exam papers). Submitting controlled assessment grades and portfolios to the examining body.Arranging and conducting one-to-one and group lessons in the classroom or via telephone/Skype/Blackboard Collaborate. Writing progress reports periodically and maintaining on-going records using the students’ Individual Learning Plan. Liaising with the Project Leader and Student Support Coordinator.
