About Clare Devlin

I design and deliver high quality early years training within the primary and early years education and childcare sectors. - began my career as a primary school teacher over 30 years ago and have worked in a range of advisory roles for education and early years organisations. - have had the opportunity to study some wonderful practice worldwide In 2009 I became an independent trainer, consultant and mentor - designing and delivering bespoke programmes in response to ongoing requests from early years teachers, practitioners and Departmental Organisations worldwide. My approach to early education development is eclectic, picking up on the best of all of the research and evidence based models out there and from both local and international best practice, whilst not following any particular one in its pure form. I prefer to observe children and adults and help them to find a way that best suits their context. This is what keeps me excited every day about my work. I've also had the privilege of speaking at many conferences across UK and Ireland on Early Years Education.
