I am an energetic professional with over thirteen years of experience in the secondary education system teaching mixed-sex and ability classes to children aged 11 – 18. I am familiar with Australian, British and Canadian syllabi as I have had the privilege of teaching in these countries. Remote teaching in Melbourne had me alter how I approach students and parents as a greater need has arisen for connection and understanding. Previous employment has seen me escalate up the ranks in retail and achieve store daily and weekly goals. I have a heart for those without a voice. I thrive serving others, specifically those in third-world countries. This passion was most recently lived out as I served on a team working with victims of sex trafficking in the Philippines. Pre Covid-19, I spent five years abroad, where I further developed my skills in problem-solving, exploration, networking, research and so on. This time was paramount to my growth both personally and professionally. My ability to connect with people of all age groups and backgrounds makes me extremely approachable and my friendly nature allows people to feel comfortable. With an eye for detail and keen sense of creativity, I thrive in a fast paced environment and working through a plan of action. This has been developed over my various careers and also during recent years where I have spent time travelling the world solo, planning each phase of my trip and further learning to adapt in new and sometimes confronting situations. My main focus in life is to bring the best of myself to the table and draw out the best in others.
Listed skills include Microsoft Office, Customer Service, Microsoft Excel, Leadership, and 35 others.

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Educate Year 7-11 students in both Geography and History under the Australian Curriculum.
Provide quality teaching and student engagement through creative and up to date lessons. Through over 20 weeks of remote teaching, regular assessments of student well being and progress have been made in order to design appropriate lessons and well being time. Consistent, quality feedback speaks to the above touch points as well as clear and concise instructions and expectations. The independent website creation that was implemented in 2021 has shifted how students engage and interact with both myself and one another.
Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne
An ongoing great opportunity to do casual teaching work with various schools in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The reliability and flexibility (pre Covid) were great while my commitments had me between Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada pursuing international teaching experiences while able (age limits and visas). Schools that were engaged with observed my passion for the classroom and quality education and over time, they requested my services if available. My CRT was paused due to obtaining a contract at Edinburgh College.
Alberta, Canada
Year 9 coordinator role along with the teaching of all core subjects to this year level. Year 7 Science and whole Junior High Health classes were also part of this role. The learning of Canadian Curriculum was a large component in order to effectively deliver content in an unfamiliar setting.
Worldwide
World renowned and at the top of its field, Rodan + Fields is for anyone who has skin! This role enabled the learning of Direct Marketing and management. Over time and with the relocation from Canada to Australia, my desire to continue in this field became less of a priority.
Philippines
A mission trip to the Philippines to rescue and minister to women who have been trafficked into the sex industry. Under the program, we were able to offer choices for the women we ministered to, meaning that we offered funded education, housing, basic human needs and a proper wage. This is a passion of mine - fighting for the least of these - for people who do not have a voice due to the power of others.
Alberta, Canada
Working with students with learning difficulties in Junior High while waiting for my certification to be recognised in Canada. This role involved assisting in reading, writing, mathematics and general conversation and encouragement. It occurred both solo and within the classroom.
Alberta, Canada

To explain the gap in employment: 2015 included the exploration of and immersion in 22 countries. Of this time, volunteer experience was had in China in looking after giants panda bears at a conservation in Chengdu. Networking occurred weekly and opened doors for future employment and contacts globally. This was a year that resulted in a wealth of experience that has been taken not only into daily life but also into the classroom. World awareness and understanding makes a person shine and being able to share this with teenagers and connections, alike, opens doors and minds to more than can be described. It is aspirational for some and I proud to be able to be a representative for the world.
