Being a scientific publishing company with dozens of publications, tight deadlines were a common occurrence at Future Science Group and it was a great place to learn how to manage my time. I would often work on projects from concept to completion and for print and online.Tasks included: drawing and preparing scientific illustrations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, designing journal covers, video animating and editing, typesetting news articles, artworking, coordinating printing and designing and coding marketing emails.As well as this, I:• instigated a project to add keywords to images in our image library which saved the production department time every day while image researching• taught myself After Effects and Premiere Pro and succeeded in creating professional corporate videos • trained 9 colleagues in using Illustrator• partook in the social committee for reasons that I enjoy organizing and communicating with people across the company.
