Designed, from concept to completion, Palihouse Santa Monica. Worked with the design team to source furniture and fixtures for upcoming hotel and condo properties, including The Palihouse Vine, Los Angeles and Bryant Park, San Francisco.On-site supervision of the design process, including installation of wall coverings, furniture, flooring and construction, for the Palihouse Vine in Los Angeles.Designed the sales office, from concept to completion, for a new chain of resorts opening across the country.Worked with marketing director to create concepts and themes for weekly and monthly events for Palihouse Holloway. This includes, bringing in local deejays, promoters, performers and live acoustic musicians that represent the Palihouse brand.

Assisted the hotel Art Director in curating the brand identity and complete visual experience of The Standard’s Los Angeles hotel properties. Owned by Andre Balazs and designed by Shawn Hausman, both the Hollywood and Downtown Standards are heavily design-driven boutique hotels, each with its own inimitable aesthetic, a postmodern, tongue-in-cheek riff on mid-century modernism. Responsible for overseeing the hotels’ originality and physical appearance in all their aspects, including approving and supervising any changes in textiles, furniture, lighting, fixtures, hardware, and uniforms.Sourced new products and vendors and maintained relationships with existing vendors for renovation and reconstruction of flooring, hardware, signage, furniture, and drapery and for replacing any discontinued design features.Commissioned well-known artists and designers (the creators of Uglydolls, Knitta Please, and Gina Garan, the photographer of Blythe Dolls, for example) to create monthly art installations for The Standard Hollywood’s Lobby Vitrine. Collaborated with the artists to develop concepts for installations and to produce them.Managed daily schedule of live models for the Lobby Vitrine, ensuring prompt arrival and attendance and preparing invoices for payment and accounting.Conducted weekly walk-throughs of all hotel rooms and guest areas to identify problem sites. Communicated with in-house Engineers and Housekeeping and outside vendors and consultants to effect restoration.Responsible for quality of uniform presentation for all hotel staff, creating designs for newly formed positions, and ensuring timely availability, alterations, repairs, and replacements for existing uniforms. Styled and produced 24-page "Holiday Gift Guide" for holiday double-issue 71 and "Dutch Design" story for Issue 73. Managed company Dispatch, Office Supply Inventory and Staff/ Client Data Base.
