Hi, I'm Clare! I have always been fascinated by people's stories and interactions, especially across cultures and business. I explored this passion during my Master's in International Manager and have applied this learning throughout my international and fast-paced career, working for several high-growth tech start-ups and scale-ups. Through these opportunities, I have had the chance to take on significant responsibilities and work autonomously to shape and drive the employee experience, often as the first People and Culture hire.My focus is always on the holistic employee experience, creating great people programs, coaching leaders (and team members), influencing stakeholders on the importance of robust people and culture initiatives, and shifting "the way it's always been done". I've been impacting and innovating in the people space for over 6 years, across three continents, and supporting teams in 17 countries. Outside work, I love to paint, read, walk my dog Chico along the Vancouver seawall and spend time with friends. I'm always on the lookout for great comedy shows!
