I am an accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Lecturer, Couples Therapist and Clinical Supervisor. I have worked with many presenting issues ranging from mild anxiety and depression through to severe mental health conditions as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a hospital setting. I am a Lecturer of Counselling and psychotherapy for Adult learning. I have delivered the CPCAB approved Intro course, the Level 2 & Level 3 and the Level 4 DiplomaI in therapeutic counselling. I have my own business which provides local services, schools and businesses with support on all topics regarding mental health and promoting positive wellbeing - in the form of tailor made workshops, presentations, and much more. I have successfully completed Level 2, Level 3 and qualified at Level 4 - Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (CPCAB) and I am a registered member of the BACP. I am also a qualified supervisor (Level 5). Volunteer positions have enabled me to work with a wide scope of clients and presenting issues. These have included working with adults either through doctor referrals or self referred, and specialising in working with Young People who are survivors of rape and sexual abuse. My hope is to provide a supportive service which will encourage a better understanding of mental health issues and promotes positive wellbeing.
