Growing up, I always knew I had a fondness for science and the environment. My childhood dream ever since watching documentaries every weekend with my dad was to become a marine biologist.I pursued a diploma in biotechnology to hone my scientific research skills. Having been trained in the basics of biological science, I ended up as an intern studying corals and understanding how they are impacted by varying stressors in our constantly industrializing world. My degree in marine biology then strengthened my love for the environment but also woke me up to the harsh realities of the world - our world is in trouble.This moved me to desire transformative change in the way we live and work to protect the longevity of our planet. With this goal in mind, I now find myself as an ESG analyst; hopeful in my position to drive the transition for a better tomorrow.
