I am a graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.S in Psychology and a Minor in Human Development and Family Science. Through several years of peer counseling and Christian ministry with Reformed University Fellowship, I have come to view honesty, empathy, and community as essential to human healing and growth. My professional interests focus on the use of an existential-humanistic counseling orientation, healing from trauma, and the myriad ways in which physiological, social, and spiritual factors contribute to holistic recovery. I hope to always support and empower others in both professional and personal spheres.Following two semesters of serving clients through internship in my Master of Counseling program at Western Seminary, I am looking forward to returning to the counseling room. My aims are to even more deeply embody the core therapeutic skills of empathy, conscientiousness, respect, and flexibility and to more effectively practice through an existential-humanistic lens. I look forward to the lifelong learning process of becoming an increasingly effective, empathetic, and humble helper.
