My name is Clare Lors, I am a Junior at Ohio University working to achieve a bachelor’s degree in marketing. I plan to focus my career interest on marketing directing positions. I am a passionate and motivated student; I am excited to further my education and see what the future holds. I am pursuing a degree in marketing because I have always been interested in sales and consumer data. The courses I will take at Ohio University will allow me to build on my knowledge and explore different career paths surrounding marketing. I am an active member in both the American Marketing Association as well as the Schey Sales Center. I apply the professional development skills I am learning in these organizations to my classes and future career endeavors. Having a business degree and fully grasping all aspects of the college of business will benefit my future endeavors greatly. My goal at Ohio University is to be as engaged as I can with my academics and university involvement. Being involved and seizing every opportunity allotted will set me on a successful path towards future careers.
