What I love about being a designer is working with photos, graphics, illustrations, videos and more to give the reader a unique experience. It’s not simply about making things “look pretty.” It’s about taking multiple elements and putting them together in a way that best serves the narrative and the audience.Collaborating with artists is one of the most fun parts of being an art director. I truly believe I'm only as good as the artists who can also provide their own ideas in addition to my own, and elevate our visions. Thanks to my network that I’ve cultivated in the last several years, I’ve developed relationships all around the world and have worked with many artists who span from seasoned veterans to recent grads just starting out in the industry.
