I am an experienced executive leader in the higher education sector. I draw from my background as a commercial lawyer, co-founder and executive of a financial services firm as well as 18 years of governance roles in finance and the arts. Bringing my private sector know-how to public interest entities is where my passion lies. My strengths are in creating a vision, collaboratively developing strategy, leading projects and empowering teams to achieve top results. Experienced in harnessing creative thinking principles and skilled in motivating others, I enjoy delivering ambitious objectives. In my current role, I focus on advancing graduate employability skills through experiential learning (both in and outside of the classroom). The rate of change required in universities to this end is urgent. My current governance roles include Whai Rawa Fund (independent director), Work-Integrated Learning NZ Inc (board member), Cantabrainers Therapeutic Choir Trust (Chair) and Murray & Co (non-executive director).
