Coordinated and Collaborated with over 35 NGOs and Corporate Houses in organizing around 50 Medical Camps every year with close to 65 thousand beneficiaries. The camp beneficiaries ranged from a few hundreds to over 3 thousand per day.I expanded the work of the Department to reached out to 35 slums . I developed a model that enabled needy patients to get surgeries and treatment by linking philanthropists and charities directly with the beneficiaries. Enabled an option for patients to donate medicines and supplies for other patients.

Medical Education including the Teaching of medical students and post graduate doctors in Epidemiology, Statistics, Public Health, Research Methodology and Bioethics.

Project Director for the Polio Eradication Activities of ADRA India in 4 states, 9 Districts and 15 blocks. The Projects were Funded by USAID and CIDA . Involved in the liaison with Government functionaries, WHO/NPSP, Unicef , PVOs and other NGOs to help align the overall objectives with the on field activities. Linked with local leaders and organised to build trust and enable coverage of Children. Included "Add on " likes Medical Camps, Distribution of insecticide treated Bed nets etc to supplement the health delivery systems. Responsibilities included Grant Writing, Budgeting, Preparation of Detailed Implementation Plans, Report Writing and Dissemination of funding. I was involved in Phase I, Phase II and roll out of Phase III .

Medical Officer at the Earthquake Relief Hospital in Rapar Gujarat nearly 300 km from the Bhuj the epi-centre. The camp in-charage and I, had to motivate the team and maintain good health, discipline along with overseeing the availability of supplies and essentials for individuals and the hospital. The conditions were difficult with maximum temperature being 45-48 degree centigrade, after shocks, dust storms but the hospital serviced over 8000 patients, conducted dozens of deliveries. The Out reach team saw close to 3000 patients in remote and hard to reach villages on the island of Khadir.
