    • Currently the Mechanical Task Leader on the Army Tactical Intelligence Ground Station (TGS) program to design and populate a shelter mounted on an Up-Armored M1152A1 HMMWV. In 2009, the first TGS was design, built and successfully tested on schedule thus opening the door to win several production contracts. Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers and designers to work closely with the customer to perform trade studies, design, build and test the DE-CGS and a new Generator Trailer.• Mechanical Task Leader on the Army Distributed Common Ground Station (DCGS-A) program to design and populate shelters mounted on Up-Armored HMMWV vehicles with communication electronics. Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers and designers to work closely with the customer to perform trade studies, design and build the 2 shelters, tent layouts & cable control, plus analysis & design an Entourage power grid for 7 shelters and two tents. The first design was delivered on time and under cost.• Mechanical Task Leader on an extensive design upgrade on the mobile Army Common Ground Station (CGS). Effort involved design and documenting a system upgrade for replacement of new electronics and equipment on shelters out the field. This effort was completed on schedule and under budget.• Mechanical Task Leader on the Army Persistent Threat Detection System (PTDS) program. A fast 3-month program involving design, building and delivery or racks to communication and surveillance systems shelters to the Army in Iraq. This effort was completed on schedule with repeat orders.• Mechanical Task Leader and Integration IPT Leader on the Marines Combat Operations Center (COC) program. Responsibilities included leading a team to design, build, and perform full environmental tests on a radical new concept of electronic filled transit cases integrated and operating on trailers. • I was the Lead Mechanical Engineer and Technical Advisor for Laguna Industries to start a production line producing Army JSTARS Common Ground Station (CGS) shelters. Responsibilities for the $1M contract with Laguna included Mentor Protégé tutoring, scheduling, solving technical design problems, setting up and starting a production floor to build electronic panels, power vaults, plus modification and integration of shelters. Work resulted in Laguna Industries delivering one complete shelter assembly per week. Formed a Tiger team that reduced the signal cabling costs by $670,000 while reducing the delivery time by 8-weeks.• Lead Senior Mechanical Engineer involved in the design, fabrication and testing of the Army's Joint STARS Large Ground System Modules (LGSM). I was responsible for all the mechanical equipment designed and mounted on the mobile shelters. The externally mounted equipment includes a 10 meter telescoping mast, signal entry panels, Environmental Control Units, and an array of antennas. All equipment was designed to survive extreme environmental conditions including nuclear and chemical environments. The Ground Stations that supported Desert Storm functioned without a single failure, and the new Lightweight Ground Station Modules passed Munson Road tests without a any failures.• Senior Mechanical Engineer on the NATO M749 Proximity Nuclear Fuze and support equipment. The position involved development, testing and fabrication of the M42 Setter, a densely packed, electronic armament device for a nuclear fuse which was fired out of a cannon. My responsibilities included budgeting, design, analysis and testing on the $3M R&D contract. I was directly responsible for engineers, designers and draftsmen, plus interfaced heavily with vendors, QA and manufacturing team members.
