  I coordinate multiple statewide projects related to the development of STEM skills in K-12 students.Duties include: determining project goals and objectives; writing and presenting project plans, recommendations and findings; monitoring and evaluating project operations, processes and practices for quality and effectiveness; analysis, summary and review and interpretation of data; reporting findings and making recommendations using research data to improve existing projects and utilization of resources; facilitating and assisting in all community-based efforts; partnering with industry; increasing corporate support; creation of additional program opportunities to support student and teacher success; coordinating with other state agencies (i.e. Utah State Office of Education, Department of Workforce Services, etc.); delivering presentations, trainings, and instruction to educators, management, stakeholders, and the general public regarding the activities of the Center; creation and coordination of a STEM resource database;
assisting in ensuring grant compliance; organizing, coordinating, and compiling information for the Center's progress reports; and
providing technical assistance on Center issues, services, projects, and computer hardware and software.
