Associate Director Of Community Education & Partnerships
Current*Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of community education and partnership programs, ensuring alignment with Safe & Sound’s strategic agenda to prevent and reduce childhood abuse, neglect, and trauma.*Manage annual departmental budget, overseeing program planning, staff supervision, and performance management, including Senior Program Managers, community partners, volunteers, and consultants, ensuring quality service delivery.*Collaborate closely with the Chief Program Officer to shape program strategy, identify opportunities for growth, and foster relationships with key stakeholders - serving as a thought leader on issues of family and community strengthening.*Build and maintain strategic partnerships with community-based organizations and coalitions, such as the SafeStart Collaborative and Family Services Alliance, to enhance service offerings and address gaps in community services.*Ensure compliance with relevant state laws, regulations, and internal policies, while fostering a trauma-informed, inclusive work environment, driving the organization’s mission of advancing healing, equity, and justice within diverse communities.*Provide leadership in the development and delivery of community training programs (e.g., Mandated Reporter Training, Child Safety Awareness) and oversee public awareness efforts, including coordinating activities for April Child Abuse Prevention Month, while supporting the Development Department with cultivating and maintaining funding sources.*Collaborate with cross-departmental leaders to ensure seamless communication and integration of services across the organization’s various sites and programs, while continuously evaluating program outcomes and data metrics to ensure effectiveness and alignment with Safe & Sound’s mission, vision, values, beliefs, goals and evolving Theory of Change.
