Clients included: Inter-American Development Bank Developed questionnaire for survey of local businesses to assess energy consumption and performed technical research to create list of eligible goods and materials for green financing protocol.  Lead author and researcher (collected data & designed study parameters) on Landscape Analysis and Market Study. Led interviews/work-sessions with the Guyanese Energy Agency and Office of Climate Change.Nova Scotia Department of Energy and Mines Utilized Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) and industry best practices in Research & Design evaluation to create specialized scoring criteria to measure business innovation, in support of assessing industries’ international competitiveness. Administered survey and analyzed data and authored business competitiveness report based on findings.

Technical lead on renewable energy engagements and business development efforts. Managed home office operations for short term and multi-year engagements with corporate clients. Co-authored five winning proposals and significant contributor to unit’s annual revenue targets. Renewable Energy Experience:Niger Delta Partnership Initiative (NDPI): Key technical member of team conducting a market systems analysis of Niger Delta Small and Medium Enterprises, along with a community level electricity demand analysis. Performed review of Nigeria’s Power Policy and the regulations on tariffs, captive and embedded generation, renewable generation, and electricity distribution and transmission. Lead author on study of Nigerian captive and embedded generation and contributing author to electricity value chain study. IFC/World Bank: Power Sector Analyst, for DAI’s technical support to the IFC and World Bank’s off-grid energy access market mapping of Sub-Saharan Africa. Identified strategies to digitally map African markets to indicate potential investment opportunities for off-grid energy investors and developed a methodology to identify potential markets for off-grid electrical generation solutions. Oil and Gas Consulting Experience: ExxonMobil, Centre for Local Business Development, Guyana: Managed start-up of three-year ExxonMobil funded small to medium sized enterprise (SME) training center. Developed course content, reference guides, managed social media for the center and designed the website and related materials for public consumption. Carried out a gap analysis of Guyanese business to identify their competitiveness to bid on potential procurements. Developed and administered trainings on the oil and gas industry and Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements in the oil and gas industry. Top Five Fortune 500 Oil and Gas Company: Managed team and performed analysis of six countries’ oil and gas procurement regulations for use in corporate new market-entry decision making. Oil and Gas Association of Tanzania: Performed comparative policy analysis of oil and gas procurement regulations in three countries. Reports and analysis were used to advise the government of an East African country on drafting their internal policy.

While working on the TFBSO project provided technical services including acting as a contributing author on contract deliverables including specific contributions related to the mining and extractive industries in Afghanistan as well as assisting in the transition of the TFBSO Herat Business Incubator to the American University of Afghanistan in Fall 2014.

Provides accounting, contracts, and general project management assistance on Regional Afghan Municipalities Program for Urban Populations East (RAMP UP East). The purpose of RAMP UP East is to create effective, responsive, democratic, transparent, and accountable municipal governance in the eastern provinces of Afghanistan. Acts as DAI's Afghanistan portfolio administrator for the DoD system Synchronized Predeployment & Operation Tracker (SPOT). Serves as a backstop for additional MENA projects.

The purpose of the Regional Afghan Municipalities Program for Urban Populations (RAMP UP) is to create effective, responsive, democratic, transparent, and accountable municipal governance in the nine provinces that comprise the International Security Assistance Force’s (ISAF’s) Regional Command West. RAMP UP West (RU-W) will: (1) increase the capacity of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) municipal officials, (2) markedly improve the delivery of municipal services to citizens in target municipalities, and (3) increase municipal capacity to enable, support, and sustain economic growth.
