Since tutoring in French & Maths at the age of 14, I have always known I wanted to be a teacher. And here I am! With a background in English language teaching and training, I tend to focus on communication skills and cultural fluency among a wide range of student populations. One of my key areas of expertise is being able to quickly assess students needs based on the fact that I have enrolled new cohorts of students every one to two weeks for over two years for short courses at a language school. On the other hand, some of my 1-2-1 students that I tutor have been with me for over 5 years. Currently, as a TESOL Freelance Marker & Assessor, I evaluate teacher assignments for Gotoco. My role as an ELT teacher/trainer has seen me specialise in areas such as Business English and intercultural communications, and teenagers aged 11-18, delivering over 4,000 hours of lessons empowering learners with functional skills for real-world applications.As the Seasonal Director of Studies at Cambridge, my leadership extended to supporting a network of over 70 Oxbridge tutors, guiding them across numerous disciplines. My commitment to education is complemented by my skills in project management and customer service. These skills have helped me in designing and delivering innovative course materials and managing online learning platforms for private clients and professionals alike.
