Geology for Global Development aims to champion the role of geology in sustainable development and equip young geologists to make effective and long term contributions to such work.

I formatted vertical succession data sets taken from Lehrmann and Goldhammer (1999), as part of the research of Professor Peter Burgess. I then analysed the data that I had formatted using a Matlab code produced by Professor Peter Burgess, to get results that showed the degree of order and therefore the nature of heterogeneity present in the strata.
