East End Women is a holistic adult education project designed with and for women living in the North East. The project seeks to support those who face multiple barriers in reaching their goals in relation to education, training, well being and confidence.Duties include:- Manage a portfolio of grants from start to end including; sourcing relevant funds, writing successful applications, gathering relevant monitoring data, producing evaluation and monitoring reports- Develop strategic multi-agency delivery and referral partnerships with stakeholders such as local authorities, VCS networks and healthcare providers- Lead the development of domestic abuse support within the East End, including designing materials for, and delivering, the Freedom Programme- Coordinate safeguarding initiatives and develop safeguarding policy for adults and children- Design and deliver training on issues such as domestic abuse and coercive control to local multi-agency partners including hospital and nursing staff- Manage volunteers including; recruitment, induction, training and development- Coordinate, design and deliver a community education programme across Newcastle to reduce the impact of socioeconomic disadvantage.- Create and grow social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram- Develop and design marketing and educational content on programmes such as Canva and InDesign.
