I developed The Walters Method (TWM) which is a proven and simple way to cultivate a way of being in all your relationships including your partner, children and your relationships at work.TWM takes my learnings from The Journey, The Work, Inner Child Work, NLP, Focusing, mindfulness and coaching techniques and combines them into accessible, bite size chunks to provide a toolkit you can use to support you positively throughout life.The start of my journey was the realisation that for 45 years I’d been reacting to life, making terrible decisions and having terrible relationships. The catalyst was the breakdown of my second relationship which brought my world crashing down. I spent the next 10 years exploring what did I do to create this disaster. The slow recognition of the part I played and the realisation I could change gave me a calmer, more empowered perspective for approaching life. I trained with international spiritual trainers, gleaning from it what it meant to me, learning the tools to heal myself and how I could adapt them to make them accessible for others.It’s in your power to change: Your power comes when you can change yourself to create a healthier future. And when you change, your relationships also have to change. That’s what gives my clients their WOW moment. And it’s empowering.Plus it works! The TWM practitioners and I have seen it radically change the lives of hundreds of people. And thanks to Huddersfield University we now have strong and growing evidence of the effectiveness of TWM at improving mental health.
